Class Descriptions

Good self-defense must cover the entire spectrum of self-defense for the students to have the skills needed to deal with life's many challenges. Our self-defense system focuses first on the inevitability and effects of the adrenaline rush and then uses simple and proven techniques while in the adrenal state to ward off attackers. Our self-defense system starts with verbal skills to stop an attack before it becomes violent and works up to physical skills at the appropriate level should the attack escalate. Most graduates of our self-defense system never have to use their physical skills because the verbal defense tactics they learn work so well to de-escalate or back off most attacks. For those who have to use physical force, our self-defense techniques have proven themselves time and time again as the most effective self-defense available! We offer the following classes:


3 1/2 hr. Basics class

Students learn the following techniques:

  • Awareness skills that allow you to detect a potential threat before it occurs!
  • How to avoid being picked out as an easy victim. (Interviews with convicted felons show that attackers search for specific body language in their victims. Learn how to carry yourself so that assailants will not single you out!)
  • How to avoid common mistakes: AGGRESSIVE behavior - how not to pick fights! PASSIVE behavior - how not to be picked on by others!
  • How to act ASSERTIVELY, to ask for what you want in a straightforward manner!
  • How to avoid Assault, Rape, and other violent encounters
  • How to transform your fear into a source of power and strength
  • Find The Power Of Your Voice! - F.B.I. statistics say that 70 - 80% of assaults can be stopped by good verbal boundaries alone.
AND
  • What to do in a worse case scenario should you find yourself physically attacked. You will learn simple and effective strikes to vulnerable areas on the attackers body and practice them live while in the Adrenal Fear.

Build on the self-defense techniques taught in the Basics class. This class will hone your skills and expand your already powerful arsenal by introducing new scenarios and additional techniques.

3 1/2 hr. Ground Defense

ground Many fights go to the ground! Do you know what to do if you end up having to fight off an attacker from the ground? In this advanced self-defense class you will take the next step in learning that fear is an incredible source of power for self-defense. Using simple techniques, proven to work when combined with the adrenaline rush, students learn that ground fighting is amazingly effective and empowering! Trained and non-trained ground fighters will benefit from this highly adrenalizing and proven effective self-defense class!

Weapons Defense

   Defense Against an Armed Assailant Levels I - Stand Up fights - 3 ½ hr.

   Defense Against an Armed Assailant Level II - Ground fights - 3 ½ hr.


weapons In the Weapons classs you will take the next step in learning that fear is an incredible source of power! Although there is never a guarantee, the fact is that people who are trained correctly and determined to fight for their lives do quite well against armed attackers. Much of this training involves overcoming many of our beliefs and fears concerning weapons as depicted by movies, press, and horror stories of assaults from victims who simply didn't know better.
